Breakfast Oat & Chia Jars

A quick and easy recipe to kick-start your morning full of protein and fibre! Our fabulous retreat chef Catherine from Wildings Vegan Kitchen has lovingly shared it with our The Zest Life community to enjoy!

Chia with almond milk, dairy-free coconut yoghurt and fruit. Soaked chia overnight in apple juice overnight layer up with fresh fruit dairy-free yoghurt and agave syrup.


2 or 3 tablespoons of Chia seeds
1/2 cup of traditional rolled oats
500ml of your choice of milk (we chose almond) or apple juice
dairy-free coconut yoghurt to serve
handful of berries, nuts & toasted coconut flakes

*optional drizzle of honey or agave syrup over the top



Combine the chia seeds, oats and milk/juice in a small jar and mix well

Cover and pop into the fridge overnight

Serve with a dollop of coconut yoghurt and sprinkle with your choice of toppings

sprinkle toasted coconut over the top last for the best taste and textured crunch

Keeps well in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 2 days
