What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact Details

We collect your email address, phone number and address via our contact form and our booking form. These will only be used for the purpose of your transactions or bookings with us. These details will be held in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2020. We do not sell or share details with any third parties and do not contact you for direct marketing purposes unless you have agreed to be contacted in this way.

If you sign up to our newsletter we will use your email address. This will only be used to send you our newsletter and special offers. We use Mailerlite to write our newsletters and you can unsubscribe at any time by following the link on your latest newsletter. Your contact details will be deleted from our mailing list.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
